MEET The Man With A Gift, "AUTHOR KAWAND CRAWFORD". who is the author of two book his first Novel is called "Love, Loyalty & Dangerous Games", and his second book is called "Dangerous Games No Love No Loyalty" the sequel. Kawand was raised in Brooklyn near Coney Island. After he became 20yrs old he was injured in a Motorcycle Accident which left him paralyzed. In 1999 Kawand achieved his goal to earn his Associate Degree In Business and in 2002 he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Accounting.  Although he suffered many different tragedies he never allowed himself  to feel sorry for himself. When asked If he could change the day of his Accident his response was "I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING" It is what made me a Better man today! And had I not been injured I might not had ever discovered a world of people who needed to hear my story and be left encouraged by the testimony of " A Man with A Gift" to help change and impact a world that has No direction and lives with No meaning.

Host:  Hello, Kawand, it's a pleasure to welcome you to our Show!

Kawand:  I count it a privilege to be apart of your show!

Host:   Kawand can you share with us what Inspired you to become An Author?

Kawand: We'll it wasn't until my accident, and being left paralyzed left me wanting to share all the memories which had been locked within my head for 18 months as I lied on the hospital bed trying to regain my life from my accident there I began to realized that my Gift was to share my story with others.

Host: Tell us about your TWO Books "Love, Loyalty & Dangerous Games" and the sequel "Dangerous Games No Love No Loyalty"?

Kawand: Okay, My first novel Love, Loyalty & Dangerous Games, is about a young man living a lifestyle in the world filled with many different avenues where he went to make a name for himself, and then it drops the accident and how his life begin to change.  And the sequel Dangerous Games No Love No Loyalty, Pick up and tells about how I found No Love and Loyalty while the transition from a lifestyle in the street. Both books really reflects my true Life story with a twist here and there!

Host: Which Book your readers have enjoyed the most?

Kawand: I would like to say both, because You will find enjoyment while reading both of my books, In my sequel I will unlock questions that could only be answered in my second book! Many readers have been equally favored by the two!

Host: Kawand, Do you have any regrets?

Kawand:  We'll I know it may sound crazy but I don't regret my accident like most people would've thought! I know it's a big difference from being able to walk and not use a wheelchair, but it's added the same challenge that this used to be "bad boy" would encounter in my youthful years! I know it's stamped my life, but it has not paralyzed my dreams.  I feel sometimes like I have been given a chance to become a new man and it makes my life interesting more than one can imagine.

Host: How has the Accident changed your Outlook on Life?

Kawand:  Thank you, We'll I must say I have gotten so much accomplished than what I would have achieved had I still been able to run those streets! Trust me, when I say this, I was a Bad Boy, and people still remember that young man, and it's took many years for people to accept me for the man I am today, But my life is a gift! I recognized that I was left here to complete my earth mission and I have put every step forward to help better myself as well as help others at the same time.

Host: Wonderful, What do you want people to know about "Author Kawand Crawford"?

Kawand:  Mainly, I am a real person who had a story unlike most stories to share, it was the story of my life, after my Injury God sent a dear old friend to tell me this " Kawand you have to share your story with others"  her words gave me the courage to tell, express and build hope in people lives which has lost hope for their future. I really Hope they are given a second chance as I was given and I am forever grateful for her advice, because I've been given many opportunities and platforms to share my Life Testimony.

Tivona: I am grateful to be hear...

Host:  We always start by asking what Inspired you to become An Author?

Tivona:  We'll funny as it may sound, I had a dream And Later I realized it was apart of the Plan God
had for my life. It's really funny how we learn more about who we are when we are placed in situations that are sent to teach us what is more important.

Host: What does it feels like to have written two books?

Tivona: It really feels great! I wake up so happy to share the stories of my own life in my books, to help others to know they "ARE NOT ALONE"...

Host:  What Is Your books About?

Tivona: My book can be considered a reflection of my life and my past, I felt it needed to be written mainly because many women have been misunderstood because they have a past. "Living the Fast Life" well help put to rest many people who love to judge a book by only reading the cover...

Host: What about your Second book, why did you feel you needed to Write THE UNMARRITABLE?

Tivona: Honestly The Unmarritable is written from my own feeling toward dating and marriage. I know many women have asked themselves am I Unmarritable?  Lol. I know I have, and still to this day I've wondered if I will ever meet my prince charming.

Host:  Do you have a Mentor?

Tivona:  I cannot say that I do, mainly, because everyone I tried to reach out to never showed a unique  Interest. And that's when I because a self published Author who suffered many things while creating my books.

Host:   How have writing your Two Books, changed you as a person?

Tivona:  My books mean everything to me, mainly because I dug deep to get them from within! I believe this journey in being a self published author has taught me that you can't depend on anyone but yourself and God. I will talk live about what happened to me hoping this may be of some help for others!

Host:  What's to come for "Author Tivona Elliot"?

Tivona:  Where do I start?  Livin the Fast Life, will be a 4 part sequel and The Unmarritable will be a 2 part sequel. Both Books are Page Turners!

Host: Let's get into your New Book?  Tell us about the New Book " Wisdom: Preventing Problems Before They Happen?

Shon: Great, We'll My Latest Book " Wisdom: Preventing Problems Before They Happen" is a book to mainly help couples  "Prevent things Before they Happen". It bases are structured behind common everyday scenario's which tends to plague marriages.  Ex: I have a part in my book that discusses the "Love Language" that is shared "why don't we use this language" I help others, learn the Language of Love which is vital for a marriage to succeed.  It's Awesome to be completely in Love with your Mate still after 10 years.

Host: Now, Hold on  We have a New Book, A Tour, and A Man with a Title!  Tell Us,Who is  Shon "The Doctor of Love" Hyneman?

Shon: By My Experience I really believe GOD has given me a eye for Solution! I have already written (3) books prior to this one: " God is No Practical than you Think", " It's the Women you Gave Me" and A (Workbook for Couples) "Three OR Even Better" Each of my Books, Help Teach and Instruct people how to retain Wisdom Prevention. This mean I personally give my readers ideals, how to avoid costly mistakes.

Host: What can you tell our Listeners,Your readers and Fan About you they may not already know?

Shon:  I enjoy varies sports in my spare time.

Host: Shon it's so wonderful to see a Man take on such a Big Mission! Can you share with us How did you come with this ideal to share this kind of Helpful Information with others?


Shon: Well, If I keep it real My wife and I counsel Couples,and through counseling we've discovered many couples share some of the same problems which allowed me to become a resource for a solution to help others find answers to their everyday life circumstances.


Host: Tell us, About your Ministry "Never Again"?


Shon: Never Again Ministries became the Ideal to help couples who have repeated those same words
"Never Again" this became the bases of a mission which can enable others to turn negative words into positive statements such as: Never Again will I do this, do that, to my partner and spouse.

Shon:   Alright Thank you, Yes, I must say she can have HALF, because Londina have been very Helpful in this process. Host:   Hello, Melissa Ann Ricks, How are you today?

Melissa:  I am Blessed and How are you?

Host:   I Am Blessed as Well. Wonderful, I would like to ask you some questions, so that your readers, may learn more about  WHO IS MELISSA ANN RICKS? Can you tell us when did you believe you wanted to become an author?

Melissa: Well, If I keep it truthful, I didn't begin writing stories about my life, until I became pregnant with my oldest son.

Host: What kinds of stories did you write?

Melissa:  Well, While I was pregnant I really begin to write story that described the way my child felt inside of my womb, and how the birth of my Baby arriving came with anxieties and excite, how each movement represent life,and how it became the Joy of my happiness. And  Also I found myself  writting about the Love I have for my husband who remains by my side.

Host: What is the Title of your First Book?

Melissa:  AWESOME WONDER!

Host: What was it about?

Melissa: This Book was about a young women who had experienced many different lessons, Her Journey in faith after she realized what was going on in her life, caused her to trust God like never before.

Host: Did you write another book, and if so What's the Title? and what is that book about as well?

Melissa:   Yes, I do The Title is "THE SON" and this book is a fiction novel about a young man who had a call on his life to work for the kingdom of God, But he feared the calling and many obstacles came to position him to become the Man God had Called him to become, And he was given a Beautiful Gift for being Obedient to the Call.

Host: Wow, You  are really talented, Even though I'm still in the early chapters of the Book "THE BLOOD DONE SIGNED MY NAME"  I must say it's a very interesting Story! Now how you believe this book will change your readers?

Melissa:  Well, If A person shares a hunger for something more than the visible eye can see, they will enjoy "THE BLOOD DONE SIGNED MY NAME". This Book will encourage anyone to never lay your faith aside, because God can use those darkest events in our life, and begin to witness his beautiful in many painful experiences.

She graduated from South University earning a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. And is currently pursuing her MBA. Ondrea L. Davis has a passion to work with youth and have been a Great Inspiration to many Churches and Communities. Although she has a busy life she still manages to have time to run her own Accounting and Consulting Firm.


Ondrea's, Book "How Could My Husband Be Gay" have won a number of Literary award in the 1st place in 2011 Reader's Favorite Award in Non-Fictional Relationships and the 2011 Books-And-Authors.net Book of the Year for Autobiographical Alternative. Host:  Good Everning, and  How are you doing this evening?

Ondrea: I'm doing fine, and Thank you for having me here  At An Author Speaks,

Host:  You are certainly Welcomed, And we are glad you were able to come as well. Now, It's on the mind of many so I just should ask the Question What Inspired you to write your book "How Could My Husband be Gay"?


Ondrea: My book is an Autobiography of my life.  And because there are so many women who have had to face some of the  many challenges as I did I felt my personal story would help another women as she tries to survive this type of ordeal.


Host: I know it took a lot of courageous to share this type of a Message, But how have your messaged changed you as An Author?  


Ondrea:  My Message is geared to help bring Discussion-Awareness- Prevention, each one of these areas have been key for me to help spread this message to anyone who will listen, but because it's a tale of deception it will benefit other women to be careful choosing a mate without knowing who the person really is!  Now, I believe if anything as an Writer, this book have strength me and my faith! I feel that God's shown favor, but it was lessons to be learned and now I have been given the message to share.


Host: Deception is one of the biggest things that many suffer in a Relationship, How do you feel about this alone?


Ondrea:  Deception, Deception, Deception, well it's sad because many people want to trust someone, but too many individuals find themselves holding such great power over other human's life. And instead they believe that it's a better choice to deceive someone than be straight forward. No one, wants to be deceived! It's not your choice to take away my choice.


Host:  I love the song you have on your Website, The Lyrics say "I Survived" Is this song made for like yourself and many other women who came out of such a very terrible ordeal?


Ondrea:  Yes, I believe it's words are everything one lives, when they are in this type of situation, you find yourself day after day fighting for your life, and praying that you have been covered from all the evils which plagues one life after experiencing this type of pain and embarrassment.  You just have to "Hold On". And this song speaks to anyone who faced many terrible situations as well.

Alice:  Well as you said I am a Mother of two wonderful children and now A grandmother, I love to write and read. My ability of writing was inspired by my many experiences and my desire to share with others my stories from my own prospective.

Host:   Now, on Facebook I can't deny you've been a favorite, what do you think your reader's spot in your writing that captivates their soul ?

Alice:   lol......I think if I could choose anything it would be my ability to make others laugh and see themselves in my characters. Many readers are truly looking for character they can relate to an my approach is to keep my audience surprised and for some reason they love it!

Host:   Are most of your books based on personal experiences?

Alice:  I believe I  have found a niche in my writing, even though I may have some truth to my words, each book reflects the issues which have surrounded my Titles and many relates to LOVE so I just allow myself to write something I do feel I know much about.

Host:   I heard you are getting ready to release a Brand New Books, that must be so excited?

Alice:  Yes, it certainly is! I am having a Big Book Release Party on "Father's Day" I know it will be great!!

Alice:   Thank you! Sure, Well My Book " Autumn's Five Seasons The Men" is a book about A young     Woman who to find love, she will learn several lessons before she recognize True Love. I don't want to give it away! But it's a wonderful story.......

Host:  Hello Paulette, 

Paulette:  Hello,

Host: Let's Talk about your New Book,  Why the Title Completely Whole?

Paulette:   Actually, in the middle of completing my first book, this book came to mind. I had gone through a bad ordeal, which left me broken and scared. In order for me to write about becoming whole, I had to experience it myself. There were areas in my own life that I needed to confront and deal with. Once God began to point out those areas and I accepted where i was spiritually, the healing and restoration began. The process of becoming Completely Whole is continual for any believer desiring to live, walk and pursue a life of purpose.

Host:   You are so right, so many times women are left alone, broken and scare, How did you survive your ordeal?

Paulette: I was Blessed! I had God on my side! But it didn't mean I didn't need spiritual growth myself.

Host:   What is the main message in "Completely Whole"?

Paulette:  Completely Whole is one of those books that will challenge the reader to do a self examination of where they are as it relates to their own spirituality. This life changing book will help readers to transform their spirit, soul, and body through Jesus Christ, so they can live a life of peace, joy, and fulfillment. My focus in writing is to enrich the lives of my readers. I had a reader make this comment about Completely Whole, "IT SPEAKS" and that's what I want it to do. I want readers to come away knowing that they have the ability to live a full enriched life.

Host:  How can this book contribute to transforming someone's life?

Paulette:  A person is transformed when they chose to apply the spiritual principles that are outlined in Completely Whole. Once a person Identifies those self destructive mind-sets then they are able to deal with those issues that have kept them from walking in victory.

Author Tina Lawson, who is a Poet who have written the her 1st book called: "The Color of Butterflies".  She is a mother of  Three Children, and is the Oldest of Six children from her parents Christine & Samuel Martinez. Tina was born and raised in Texas. Tina has dedicated her book to her Late Mother Christine Martinez who was also a writer herself. She contributes her success to the many personal experience in which God allowed her to overcome and brings powerful testimonies and humor which pertains to everyday events. Tina's Book is a Compliation of about 60 poems and was published in November 2011.

The Interview:

HOST: "When did you first realize you had a Gift to Write Poems?

TINA:  It was when I was in Grade School, "I remember my teacher asking me to put my thoughts into a Journal."

HOST: What type of Topic's do your poems consist of?

TINA:  Well, My Poems are alittle different, they deal strictly with my day to day life events, I would take those events and place them into a diary until I decide to create my Book.

HOST:  How did you come up with the Name of your Book ?

TINA:  " My book originally had another name, but after my sister and I kept reviewing the different style format of my poems, She suggested I name it "The Color of Butterflies" because each Poem has it's own message.

HOST:  How do you Like being An Author?

TINA:  It's been and Amazing Journey, " I remember when my Book first Arrived it was like GOLD to me, I held onto it because I was so Happy to see everything I had suffer was now available for other's to read.

HOST:  What would you like your Viewer's to know about "TINA MAE LAWSON"?

TINA:  I am a very passionate person when it comes to my writing! My Poems consist of 20 years of my ups and downs and I am really grateful for this gift because it was a gift in which my mother who past in 2009 shared as well.  I hope all who read them will be inspired by them and I hope that each message my poems send is a message of hope and truth!

Author "Clarissa Lighthouse Johnson", she is A Wife and Mother who have been given an assignment to bring light where there is darkness. Clarissa begin to write her New Book  (Sleeping with the Enemy) in 2010.  Despite the many lessons and blessings, God had a plan for her as she became an Author,Ordain Minister,Spiritual Coach and Motivational Speaker. She truly understands what it's like to rise above turbulent times, and have been inspired to share a message of  purpose. She is a very kind and  warm soul. She's also a very anointed  woman with a transparent spirit to reach her readers.  Her book has hit home with many women who have experienced some of the same struggles such as she did and she have made an positive impact in many lives with her gift and message.

Host:   Hello, Clarissa, Thank You for this Interview, Let me First start your Interview by asking what made you select the title "Sleeping with the Enemy" for your book? 

Clarissa:  My Book originated from a True Story based on different events which happen in my own life.

Host:     Who was your favorite Character and Why?

Clarissa: "Well I must say it's "Cherise" because She and I, both had a calling on our lives, and we both had to learn many lessons about people and how to deal with men like "Mr. Terrell."  I don't want to give it away...

          

Host:     What is your passion for writing "Sleeping with the Enemy"?

Clarissa:  My passion as a Christian Fiction Author is to restore the broken hearted and reveal  how God can restore a person's life if they "TRUST HIM"! And I also want my readers to know I am a very transparent writer who will take your Faith to another level. 

Host:     Is there anything else you would like your Reader's to know about "Clarissa Lighthouse Johnson"?

Clarissa:     Yes, I have been Blessed by God! I believe that if God calls us to do something, He will  provide the way to get his work done!  In the making of  "Sleeping with the Enemy" It was there I grew to know Christ more and more. I believe He elevated me high enough to help others and Now there's no stopping me. And In my quest to renewing my walk with Christ I begin to See "Lighthouse Fiqurines" all over the place after a Good friend gave me one while facing my own storm. The message I received was I was considered A Light in Darkness" So I've Incorporated the word "Lighthouse" in my name and I have collected lots of Lighthouse Figurines every since then. 

            

Host:    Before we end this interview Is there any favorite part of your book you would like to share with your viewer's and why?

Clarissa:  Yes,  This is a Part from the Character Cherise....

       "EVERYTIME SHE SUBMITTED SEXUALLY, "AS UNTO THE LORD"SHE FELT AS IF SHE HAD BEEN RAPED.                                               -Clarissa Johnson

 I can identify with "Cherise" Because she and I needed Christ to not only Save us, but heal us as well. Below is a Short description of  "Cherise Tillman"

Hi, my name is Cherise Tillman. Although a little thick, I am quite sexy if I must say so myself. Everybody loves me and I love everybody. I am truly a people's person, but my husband, Terrell has a problem with my exuberant personality. On the outside, I appear to be happy but on the inside, I'm a mess. See, I have this problem. I am very unhappy in my marriage to Terrell. He is quite abusive (not necessarily physically, but emotionally and mentally). Of course, there was a few times he's threatened me with a gun, and oh yeah, that time that he pushed me down on the bed and raped me. I am so close to leaving this buster, but I have another problem. I'm sure you're saying, "honey, leave that fool", but you see, it's just not that easy for me. See, I honor my vows but more importantly, I honor the Lord. The Bible says that He hates divorce, and being a minister and worship leader in the church, I just don't want to do anything to displease Him. I tell you though, I'm literally on the edge and I am just about to lose my mind in this house with this fool. Yal please pray for me b/c I tell you, sometimes I swear I'm literally *Sleeping With The Enemy*. I have to go and pray now b/c I have a real tough decision to make.
